2023 Presidency: Group rates Tinubu best among APC aspirants, endorses his candidature

Ahead of the 2023 general election, coalition of political pressure groups in Bauchi has rated the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu as the best among other aspirants seeking to fly the party’s presidential ticket come 2023.
The group under the umbrella of Tinubu Network for Grassroot Mobilisation 2023 in Bauchi, advised the National leadership of the APC to make Tinubu the Presidential flagbearer of the party in order not to lose the 2023 elections.
The chairman of the Group, Alhaji Bala Hassan Burga who made the declaration during a Press conference in Bauchi on Wednesday said the APC Leader is more qualified to carry the party’s flag for next year’s Presidential polls.
“Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the most qualified Presidential aspirant within our country’s registered political parties as at today, and there is no lying about this” the group insisted.
They maintained that Tinubu’s credentials and antecedents has made him eminently qualified to superintend over the political affairs of Nigeria.
The group which claimed that they comprises over 50 political support groups from across Bauchi state, advised the national leadership of the APC that unless we field Bola Ahmed Tinubu as our presidential flagbearer, the party is bound to lose in the 2023 polls.
“We are advising because as at today,he is the most politically vibrant, versatile and virile politician in the country”, the Coalition said.
“It is payback time for Bola Tinubu who did alot in actualising the long – time aspiration of our own President Muhammadu Buhari who defeated President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”, they added.
“We all know that Buhari is very popular in the North because he has great followership but that never actualise his ambition of becoming President of Nigeria until we had a handshake across the Niger and particularly with the West. And it was Tinubu’s political machine that did the marketing of Buhari to Nigerians in 2015 and we won”.
The Coalition advised that since Tinubu worked for Buhari in 2015 and 2019 to win elections, and considering his credentials and being a high profile politician in the country, he should be paid back.
