Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s Legacy of Peace and Unity Will Be Remembered — Hon. Bappah Misau

The member representing Misau/Dambam federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Bappah Aliyu Misau, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the leader of the Tijjaniyya Sufi order, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.

In a condolence message, Hon. Bappah said: “I received with profound sorrow the news of the passing of our revered scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.

He further disclosed that Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi was an exceptional spiritual guide whose life reflected the highest values of Islam — knowledge, humility, peace, and unity.

According to the Lawmaker, the Late Islamic scholar’s teachings shaped generations, strengthened the Tijjaniyya community, and enriched Islamic scholarship in Nigeria and beyond.

“We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, forgives his shortcomings, and comforts his family, students, and all those who benefitted from his exemplary life”. Hon Bappah Misau said.

He noted that the legacy of devotion and service to humanity of Sheikh Bauchi “will continue to guide and inspire us.”

Hon. Bappah, on behalf of the people of Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency, extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Sheikh, the Tijjaniyya community, and the entire Muslim Ummah, urging all to honour the Sheikh’s memory by upholding the noble values he lived by.
