Charity foundation constructs Juma’at Mosque for Bauchi community

A Bauchi-based Non-governmental organization known as Sarauniya Charity Foundation has built a standard Juma’at Central Mosque for the people of Bazariyal community in Katagum local government area of Bauchi state, Nigeria.
Speaking during the commissioning of the Juma’at Mosque on Friday, the village Head of Bidir Alhaji Bappah Mohammed Tukur applauded the founder of the charity foundation, Hajiya Rabiatu Saidu Umar Fulani for selecting the area, which he said really needed a Juma’at Mosque for the gesture.
According to him, the building of the Juma’at Mosque in Bazariyal came at the right and good period, and the benefitting community members are very appreciative of the foundation, including all who contributed in one way or the other.
He also appealed to the community while using the mosque, ensuring its proper maintenance, emphasizing that the maintenance is part of the Mosque’s management’s deities.
The main mosque and the surrounding (Haraba) has the capacity to contain about 500 people at once.
“We the people of the Bazariyal community are really appreciative of the foundation for the fulfilment of its promise. We really appreciate the founder, Hajiya Rabiatu Saidu Umar Fulani, may almighty Allah reward you in this world and hereafter”, some community members who spoke to our Correspondent prayed.
In her remarks, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the charity foundation, Hajiya Rabiatu Sa’idu Umar (Fulani) while handing over the mosque to the benefitting community, urged them to ensure its proper maintenance.
Represented by Umar Mohamed Adamu, the founder
said, “now that you have completed the construction and handed the mosque over to you the people of Bazariyal, it now behoves you to maintain it and use it according to islamic teaching”.
The representative of the foundation who said a request has been received for intervention from Hirnawo village, pledged to convey the request to the founder for consideration, assuring that the request will be approved very soon.
