Cleric tasks Muslims on giving Zakatul fitr to purify their fasting

The Chief Imam of Bauchi state Central mosque, Imam Bala Ahmad Baban Inna has called on the Muslim faithfuls to give out Zakatul fitr (charity) within three days from today Monday, in order to purify their just concluded Ramadan fasting.
The cleric made the call shortly after he led two Raka’at Eid prayer held at central Eid ground prayer in Bauchi metropolis on Monday 1st may,2022.
He reminded all muslims on the importance of giving out zakat as a lone way of purifying their fasting from some minor wrongful acts committed during the month of Ramadan.
Baban Inna, noted that the muslims are expected to give out the charity with what people eat in their community such as wheat, guinea corn, rice among others to the vulnerable among muslims to put smile on their faces as thay celebrate the day.
In anther development, the clerdgy man used the medium to extend the messages of community to the state governor, Bala muhammad for his tireless efforts in providing security and conflict resolution to communal clashes within the state.
He however, called on the present administration of Bala muhammad to shy away from using political thuggery ahead of the forthcoming Election .
The chief Imam drew the attention of the government towards resolving issues of lingering ASUU strike which he described as a great set back in educational sector, especially Northern part of the country.
Baban Inna therefore, called for quick suspension of the industrial action by the ASUU to allow younger generation have access to Education in Tertiary level.
The cleric who noted that the youths are the backbone of every society, called for attitudinal change as some of them consume hard drugs which is negative to their lifes.
Hundred of thousands of muslims in the state and its environs attended the Eid prayer, including the Bauchi state Governor Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, the Emire of Bauchi. Alh. Dr. Rilwanu sulaiman Adamu, Bauchi state speaker House of Assembly Abubakar Y. Sulaiman among other top government functionaries.
