FA Chair, Patrick Commissions Num Soccer School Nigeria Limited Competition In Bauchi

The Chairman Bauchi State football association and the super eagle coordinator Mr. Pascal Patrick, the Talba of Tapshin yesterday commissioned the Num Soccer School Nigeria Limited Competition in Tafawa-Balewa local government area of the state.

The opening ceremony of the program was held at the Num mini stadium of Tafawa-Balewa local government area of Bauchi State.

Pascal Patrick who was represented by the FA Chairman Tafawa-Balewa local government, Monday D. Gofor, applauded the organizer of the tournament and all the teams that registered to participate in the competition.

The former Nigerian International footballer Patrick cautioned the officials of the tournament to ensure that they keep to time on everything so that the competition will be successful.

He added that in 2024, any academy that has not registered with the Nigerian Football Association (NFA) will be stop from organizing competition in order to avoid bringing problems in the game of football.

The Bauchi State chairman of the football association, Mr. Pascal Patrick advised all the teams that registered for the competition to follow all the rules and regulations to avoid been punish for creating anh problem in the tournament.

Speaking, the organizer of the competition and Proprietor of Num Soccer school academy, Honorable Babangida Thomas Num appreciated God for making the competition a reality.

He equally thanked the FA Chairman Bauchi State chapter for approving the competition and supporting him fully during the process.

Num said that the essence of organizing the competition is to unite the youth from within and outside the area that travelled home to celebrate Christmas in their various villages.

According to him, the competition will no doubt foster cordial relationship in the communities.

Babangida Thomas who is a one time footballer has played for Al-Itifaq FC Dubai (2019), Verity FC Abuja (2016 – 2018), Abia Worriors (2015), Taraba United (2014), Wikki Tourist FC Bauchi (2013), Shepherd FC Division 2 South Africa (2012) and Oduazo Sport Academy South Africa (2012).

Other teams he played for are; Chescon FC Abuja (2011), Abuja City Soccer Academy (2010), Juvenile FC NNL (2009), Nassarawa United Feeders Lafia (2008), Pepsi Soccer School (2007), Better Side FC Division 2 Kano (2005), Kufka FC Azare Division 2 (2004).

Babangida is the current member of the Pelican Sporting Organization Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Spain and Estonia, Member Skala Sporting Organization, Germany
Member Africamp Sporting Organization, Turkey Member Athletic Darje Soccer Schools, Uzbekistan Member Mega Sport International Organization, Kazakhstan Member Oduazo Sports Organization Pretoria, South Africa.

Babangida Thomas Num promised all the players that Participated in the tournament will be awarded and doors will be open for him to travel abroad for football.
