Governor Inuwa Mourns As Late Alkali Ahmadu Family Loses Matriarch, Hajiya Aishatu
…Condoles With Emir of Gombe, Former PenCom DG, Other Family Members
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commiserated with former Director- General of National Pension Commission, PenCom, Malam Muhammad Kabir Ahmad over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Aishatu Ahmad, (Hajja Adda).
The Governor in a message issued by his media aide Mal. Ismaila Uba Misilli, also condoled with the entire Late Alkali Ahmadu family over the huge loss of their matriarch.
“It is heartbreaking and traumatic feeling to lose a mother at any age, but as Muslims we must accept what Allah has ordained. Hajja Adda lived a fulfilled life characterised by service to Islam, family and humanity, and left behind an enduring legacy through her children and grand children, including his royal highness, the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III.
On behalf of my family, government and people of Gombe State, I convey our heartfelt condolences over this huge loss of our dear mother who departed when her elderly guide is greatly needed . We pray Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus”
Hajja Adda died in the late hours of Wednesday at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe after a protracted illness.
The 98 year old matriarch of Alkali Ahmadu family left behind 5 children, among them Malam MK Ahmad and Hajiya Aishatu (Yayya), the mother of the Emir of Gombe,.HRH Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III.
