Jama’are/Itas federal constituency: Rabilu defeats Jingudo at appeal court

House Representatives member for Jama’are/Itas federal constituency, Honourable Rabilu Kashuri of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has defeated his opponent of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mohammed Jungudo at the appeal court sitting in Abuja.
The victory of Kashuri had recently suffered setback following the ruling of national assembly election petition tribunal which nullified his victory in favor of the PDP candidate, Mohammed Jungudo.
However, upon appealing the judgement, the election victory of the APC candidate, Hon. Kashuri was restored by the appeal court yesterday.
Speaking to our Corresspondent in phone conversation, Hon Kashuri appreciated the prayers of his constituents which he said guaranteed his victory at the appeal court.
Kashuri described the judiciary as the last hope of the common man, dedicated his victory to Allah and the good people of Jamaare and itas Gadau.
Hon. Kashuri who stated that words are not enough to express his appreciation to the electorate that voted for him and still stood with him in prayers, pledged to come down to his constituency for a thank you visit.
The federal Lawmaker appreciated the effort of the party stakeholders at both the state, local government and ward level for all the support and sacrifices they made to ensure his victory at the court.
He promised to serve as member representing all the people of Jamaare and itas Gadau local government areas without discrimination on the basis of party differences.
