Misau Emirate: Dan Lawan Turbaned as New Sarkin Dawakin Misau

Emir of Misau, Alhaji Ahmed Sulieman MNI has Turbaned Alhaji Danlawan Abdulmumini as new Sarkin Dawakin Misau at his palace in Misau, Misau local Government.

Speaking on behalf of the entire family of Danlawan at emir’s palace on Sunday, Malam Aliyu Zango said appreciated the Emir for the recognition promoting their son Danlawan Abdulmumini.

Zango who said that the traditional title of Sarkin Dawakin Misau is recognition bestowed upon their son by the Misau Emirate council, assured the emirate council that Sarkin Dawakin Misau will continue to be loyal to the emirate at all time.

He also appealed to traditional title holders to continue praying for the country for peace.

In his speech, the Emir of Misau, Alhaji Ahmed Sulieman MNI appreciated the contribution of the newly appointed Sarkin Dawakin Misau, Alhaji Danlawan Abdulmumini toward the Development of Misau emirate.

He explained that the tireless efforts of Abdulmumini in the area of positive development within and outside the Emirate earned him the title.

He said that the traditional title holder has contributed in building modern Mosque as well as sponsoring weddings of 20 Girls from needy and less previledged families across the emirate council.

The Emir added that the Sarkin Dawakin Misau has contributed a lot in the area of empowerment to small scale traders in the Emirate.
