MSSN partners Misau health college to mark World Teachers Day

The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) has in collaboration with Misau college of health science technology organized a one-day lecture and award presentation to mark the World Teachers Day.

The Lecture event was also used to recognize the immense contributions of teachers that died towards the educational development of Misau local government area and Bauchi state at large.

Speaking during the event yesterday, Chief Imam of Misau central Mosque Mal Manu called Mohammed Baba on the government to ensure upward review of teacher’s salary for improved productivity to also enable them contribute more to the development of the society.

Presenting of an Award

While describing teachers as the backbone of every society, the Chief Immam said, by increasing their pay packages, they will be more dedicated to their job specifications, thereby, promoting the growth and economic development of the state.

Our Corresspondent reports that awards were presented to personalities who have distinguished themselves in impacting knowledge in the society through the teaching profession.

Among those who received the awards include, Late ALH Ahmadu Alhaji ( Emir of Misau), Prof. Asabe Sadiya Mohammed who is the Provost of Aminu Saleh College of education, Azare, Malam Kaka Abubakar and 44 others.

In his remarks, the Caretaker Committee chairman of Misau local government area who was represented by his deputy, Alhaji Sallau Garba Tela, Congratulated the recipients of the awards, praying Allah to reward them abundantly.

He appreciated the contribution of the proprietor of Misau college of Health sciences and technology, Alhaji Ahmed Yaya towards the educational Development of Misau local government.

On his part, the Former state Head of civil service, Alhaji Ahmed Saleh Jarmajo called for inter relationship between the two educational system, the Islamic and the western education.

While contributing, the Proprietor of Misau college of health science technology, commended the commitment of the committee for the successful conduct of the event.

Dignitaries that attended the event were the representative of emir of Misau Mal Auwal Aliyu Sambo, Former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Amb. Sani yunusa , DPO of Misau Police Division, officer Misau correctional service among others.
