Pray for Govt, university Don, Dr. Usman urges Muslims on the 2023 Eid-el Kabir

A University Don with the Bingham University Abuja, Hon, Dr. Adamu Sulaiman Usman, on Wednesday felicitated with Muslim faithfuls on this year’s celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.

In a goodwill message, Dr. Usman urged Nigerians to make fear of God, the foundation of their lives.

Dr. Usman who was in his home town Dass local government area of the state to celebrate this year’s Sallah with his people, said Eid-el-Kabir festival symbolised the fear of Allah and the desire of man to always comply with the wish of his creator.

According to him, “with the fear of Allah, mutual respect and love, we will tolerate one another, work together and be able to harness our abundant resources as a progressive nation”.

The university Don who pointed out that no development can be achieved with unnecessary factions and disharmony, added that what Nigerians need now is to move forward with the present changed era.

Dr. Usman, who called on all Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love, tolerance and mutual respect, said such virtues are the panacea to move the nation forward.

He charged Muslim faithfuls to use the Sallah period to continue to pray for the government.

Dr. Usman who further stated that the peace and socio-economic development of Nigeria remains paramount, pledged his continuos support and encouragement in contributing his quota as a private citizen to positive development.

Dr. Usman commended Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state for executing numerous developmental projects for the overall benefit of the people.

He observed that such developmental projects and Programmes has created economic opportunities to the rural communities across the state.

While urging the people of Bauchi state to persevere in the face of the present economic challenges, Dr Adamu expressed optimisms that Governor Bala Mohammed is working tirelessly to remedy the situation.

Dr. Usman who wished the Muslim faithfuls a successful Sallah celebrations, called on leaders at all levels not to rest on their oars in the onerous task of building a formidable nation where all Nigerians will live in peace and prosperity.
