President Buhari presents NEAPS award to Bala Muhammad, Lawan, Pantami , others.

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulƙadir Muhammad has received the award of excellence in Rural development from President Muhammad Buhari.
The event was organise by The Best media TBS in collaboration with the presidency through the office of the secretary to the government of the federation held at the Banquet hall , presidential villa. Abuja
The award was in recognition of Governor Bala Abdulƙadir Muhammad administration commitment in rural development through massive rural and urban road construction, human capital development, infrastructure, youth and women empowerment among others.
In his address, President Muhammadu Buhari commended the awardees, saying that leadership goes with high sense of responsibility, while charging them to do more.
Speaking after receiving the award, the Bauchi state Governor Bala Abdulƙadir Muhammed described the award as a wake up call and encouragement for him to do more , while dedicating the award to the people of the state.
He therefore promised to provide more infrastructures as well as human capital development for the people to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
Our correspondent Sani Adamu Hassan who was at the venue of the event report that other recipients of the award were the former President Goodluck Jonathan, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Speaker house of representative Femi Gbajabiamila ,minister of communication and digital economy Isa Ali Pantami, minister of Humanitarian and disaster management Sadiya Umar Farooq.
Others are governors of Adamawa ,Kano ,Rivers ,Imo, Service chiefs among others.
