Prof Manzo lauds Gov Buni for Rebuilding Ben Kalio Juma’at Mosque

The chief Imam of the newly rejuvenated Juma’at mosque at Ben Kalio Housing Estate in Damaturu, Yobe state, Associate Professor Ali Usman Manzo has commended Governor Mai Mala Buni of the state for refurbishing the mosque.

The varsity Don made the commendation on Friday when he led the first two raka’ats prayer to mark the official inauguration of the Juma’at mosque.

Prof Manzo who thanked governor Buni for rebuilding the mosque, said “when you see the way this mosque was before and it actually turned out to be what it is today, you cannot but thank Allah (SWT) for the life of governor Mai Mala Buni for thinking this way and also doing the needful”.

“We are here today by the will of Almighty Allah and this is a very good work which we believe the governor has taken up”, he added.

While pointing out that, for refurbishing the mosque is one out of the numerous developmental projects across the state, the professor expressed gratitude to the Governor for the gesture.

Our correspondent reports that Governor Mai Mala Buni attended the maiden Juma’at prayer at the mosque in company of his deputy, Honourable Idi Barde Gubana, Speaker to the Yobe State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Buba Mashio, and the Honouable Commissioner for Information, Home Affairs and Culture, Hon. Abdullahi Bego amongst other dignitaries.
