Reps member Bappa Misau disburses over N12 million to 2,500 women

A member representing Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives, Honourable Bappa Aliyu Misau has distributed the sum of twelve million, five hundred thousand Naira (N12,500,000) to 2,500 women drawn from across Misau emirate council.

This is contained in a press statement made available to newsmen yesterday by member Campaign Committee to Hon. Bappa, Alhaji Juji Abbo Kolo Misau.

According to him, the cash intervention which was meant to cushion the negative impact of fuel subsidy removal on the beneficiaries, saw each person going home with N5000.

Disbursing the money to the needy selected from Misau/Dambam federal constituency, Juji Abba Kolo assured that his principal will continue to deliver the much needed dividends of democracy to his people.

“The donation is meant to cushion the hardship been faced by the 2500 selected needy who are all women beneficiaries”, he said.

Juji further explained that, the house of representatives member was touched by the present economic hardship been experienced by Nigerians which informed his decision to doled out the money that was distributed to the 2,500 women.

He explained that the disbursement of the palliative took place at Government Junior Secondary School Misau under supervision of Misau local government chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Abdu Haruna Sirko as well as the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Misau local government area, Hon. Salisu Hussaini Dondo Zannan Hardawa.

Juji Abba Kolo said that the women beneficiaries who spoke at the venue of the disbursement exercise, expressed gratitude to the the house of representatives member for the gesture and prayed Allah to bless him abundantly.
