It is indeed a Constitutional Privilege bound to any legitimate and legally Democratically elected Governor who possessed full constitutional rights as ” Government of the People, by the people, and for the people” to thoroughly look and select people who have calibre, track record ,Skills and Experience deserved to occupy a certain position under the state government to serve as one of the Cabinet member into different offices, parastatals, Agencies and portfolios representing the government on policies and programmes implementation.
No doubt, in view of the above Statutory function and role, a member Cabinet can Contribute towards a smooth implementation of Good policies, targeting masses as beneficiaries. The able and Workaholic Governor who is named Mr. Project of Bauchi State, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad has nominated Maiwada Bello popularly known as ( Geo-Barristan kaura ) who is also a Lecturer with the state polytechnic, Abubakar Tatari polytechnic Bauchi, from the Department of Geological Technology to assist him to serve in the Capacity of Commissionership.
This is a welcome Development indeed! described as overwhelming by well wishers and the right thinking members of the State, since the emergence of his name in the lists of Commissioner nominees presently before the State House of Assembly as would soon be confirmed as a Commissioner from Alkaleri Local government Area of Bauchi State pending Screening and scrutiny from the Parliament.
Furthermore, the nomination of Geo-Barristan kaura as Commissioner did not come with surprise to the good teaming youths in the state Capital and its environs, regarding his unflinching support, dedication, selfless service to humanity under the watch of Comrade muktar Gidado, the Special adviser to the Governor on media and publicity, Barristan kaura who is a gargantuan Writer under this office his colourful write-up has positively impacted in Making the image of information dessimination at its high peak and equally promoted social and economic development of the state despite the fact that he is not a Journalist or media personal but a geologist with vast experience.
I am not skeptic that the Incumbent Governor of the state, Bala Muhammad appointed Mr. Maiwada based on his track record so far attained academically and socially. This could be asserted by Citizenry of the state polytechnic from both Lecturers and students on his indefatigable efforts of impacting positively in the affairs of not only the students but the institution entirely.
This appointment has indeed served as testimony to the whole people of Bauchi that Governor Bala Muhammad is a true leader by example, whose adminstration leaved no stone unturned in making sure youths and women are prioritized through inclusiveness under his lead, this is because the lists of Commissioner nominees and that of local government caretaker chairmen already forwarded to the state Parliament, Contained names of women and youths who are bonafide indigenes of the state, indicated that Kaura is a Governor of the people, by the people and for the people.
Conclusively, the Good people of Bauchi State, Alkaleri Local government Area in particular have no sufficient words to applaud this well deserved appointment of their Son, who is a Model to the entire Bauchi State youths, while praying Almighty Allah to continue guiding the able Governor throughout his second tenure. The youth have assured kauran Bauchi of their continued support, while describing the nomination as the best choice he ever made for nominating Geo-Barrister as one of his cabinet members for the Second Tenure 2023, wish the appointee a very good luck ahead of this journey.
