Yobe education ministry meets school principals ahead 2022 SSCE examinations

The Honourable commissioner, Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education Yobe state, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris has on Wednesday met with 49 principals of the state Secondary schools, preparatory to SSCE examinations.

The Commissioner while addressing the principals at Government Girls College Damaturu, the Yobe state capital, commended them for their commitments during the Extension programs.

Sani Idris noted that Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration is resolute towards improving and harnessing various programs to ensure the quality of education in the state.

The Commissioner charged the Principals to emphasize on extra-lessions, group discussion among students as well as to ensure that the students are secured ahead of the forthcoming 2022,WAEC/NECO SSCE examinations.

According to him, by doing so, present crop of Yobe state students would perform better than their previous year’s counterparts.

Present at the occasion, were the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Alhaji Hamidu M. Alhaji, Chairman TSB Baba Ali Maidala, executive secretary Science and Technical Board Dr. Dauda Atiyaye as well as Directors of the Ministry.
