APC will reclaim Bauchi governorship seat come 2023 – Chieftain.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi, Comrade Sabo Mohammed has boasted that, come 2023, his party will defeat and reclaim the governorship position from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Comrade Sabo made this known in an exclusive interview with Baushe Times on Tuesday in Bauchi.

His statement is coming few days after the National body of the party had dissolved all its structures across the country and converted them to work for the party as caretaker committees with the exception of Non National Working Committee (NWC) members of the National Executive Council (NEC).

According to him, the NEC however approved the expulsion of Ntufam Hilliard Eta from the party for flaunting the directives of NEC to discontinue all litigation against the party and its members.

Although the dissolution raised some kind of dissatisfaction among party faithfuls, Comrade Sabo believed that it will not affect their chances of clinching the number one political office in the state.

He revealed that his party, the APC is working silently and tirelessly to ensure that all internal wrangling are resolved within the party to enable them defeat the PDP in the state.

“The party leadership at all levels are using their God given talents and wisdom to ensure no more foul play in the party. And with what is coming to our tables now, success will be at our site”, Sabo said.

On the quality of leadership the party, Sabo commended the Chairman of the party in the state, Alhaji uba Ahmad Nana for outstanding performance, describing him as “a kind and honest person with patience and tolerance”.

“We are blessed with God chosen leadership here in Bauchi state and the party icons such as Rt. Honorable Yakubu Dogara and Adamu Adamu who are working in synergy to ensure the success of the party”. he noted.

Comrade sabo assured the readiness of the party to do the needful by canvassing for support from the good people of Bauchi who he said have already indicated interest to take part actively in the membership registration.

He therefore urged loyal members of the party to remain law abiding, pledging the party’s commitment in preparing ahead of coming elections.

“I want to appeal to all APCians to operate within the ambit of the law as we are playing our roles from all angles to make APC retain its core values”. he added.
