Babagana and over 1000 Supporters dumped APC for PDP in Misau

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Misau local government area of Bauchi state, Babagana Audu Misau has on Sunday decamped to the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Babagana was received into the PDP alongside over 1000 other APC members by the Chairman of the party, Abdu Haruna at his Misau residence.
In his remarks, the Misau local government PDP chairman who welcomed Babagana Audu and her team to the PDP appreciated her decision as indegine of Misau to joint the most largest party in Africa.
The PDP chairman also assured Hajiya Babagana and her team of the party’s readiness to accommodate them all in order to enable them contribute positively to the development of not only Misau local government area but the state in general.
“As from today, you are members of the PDP, just like all of us here in this venue of this very auspicious occasion. The most important thing is for you to be loyal to the party”, he said.
Also speaking, the caretaker Committee chairman of Misau local government area, Honourable Salihu Hussain Hardawa, congratulated the decampees for joining the PDP.
“We receive you today as members of the PDP, please note that PDP is not like the APC. We in the PDP have leadership and we respect leadership system, unlike the APC”, the Chairman said.
The caretaker Committee Chairman who advised the newly received party members to ensure positive contribution to the PDP, congratulated them for receiving membership card of the party.
In a vote of thanks, Hajiya Babagana Misau appreciated the PDP leaders and stakeholders for welcoming them to the party.
According to her, over 1000 APC members decamped to the PDP, saying many more are coming because PDP is a party that brings a lot of dividends of Democracy to the people.
Among those who attend the occasion are Alh Yarima Mohammed (Sain Misau), ALH Babangida Bangarati (Kilishin Misau) Hajiya Laraba Misau (coordinator to the Governor), Alh Lele Sulieman former caretaker committee chairman Misau local Government among others.
