Bauchi Rep member, Hon Soro empowers PDP Leaders with N32.9m, urges support for Gov Bala

Honourable Mansur Manu Soro, member representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives has empowered the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in his constituency with the sum of N32.9 million.

The Lawmaker who stated this in a press statement made available to newsmen by his Media aide, Aleeyu Darazo, urged members of the party and other supporters to remain law abiding and supportive to the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed.

According to Mansur Manu Soro, the gesture was meant to show appreciation to the party officials and leaders in Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency for supporting him during the 2023 general elections.

While expressing delight over the party Leaders continued support and prayers for his success, the Lawmaker pledged more democracy dividends in his constituency.

The press statement mentioned the beneficiaries to include local government and ward party executives, stakeholders and campaign team members in Darazo and Ganjuwa local government areas.

Others are leaders of the women and youths wings of the PDP at all levels as well as Campaign Coordinators of Mansur Manu Soro (MMS) 2023 electioneering Campaigns.

The statement stated that 23 Coordinators got N300,000 each totaling the sum of N6,900,000 while 23 Women leaders also got N300,000 each amounting to the sum of N6,900,000 whereas, other Party Officials smiled home with the sum of N19.1m.

The federal Lawmaker vowed to ensure that he has the PDP more stronger until his constituency turned to stronghold of the party in Bauchi state.

Our Corresspondent reports that some time in April 2023, the Lawmaker also donated the sum of N7.5 to all PDP leadership and stakeholders in the Federal Constituency shortly after the announcement of the election results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
