Injustices Being Meted Against Palestine Has Multi-Dimensional Effects, Says Yashi

Sheikh Ahmed Yusuf Yashi has said that they embarked on a peaceful procession on Friday to in solidarity with the people of Palestine for injustices being meted to them by Israelis.

Yusuf noted that such injustices by the Israelis did not only rest on the Palestinians but equally affects the entire Muslims Ummah globally and the religion of Islam.

Malam Ahmed Yusuf who led the Bauchi Shiites disciplines under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and others Muslim ummah in a procession to mark the International Qudus Day in Bauchi state, called on the Muslims Ummah to show solidarity to the Palestinians on their plight on this global celebration day.

“On this occasion we call all human beings, particularly the Muslims to show solidarity to the Palestinians from the point of view of human perspectives irrespective of their sectarian view”.

Yusuf, who noted with delight that the Bauchi demonstration marking the day was conducted in a peaceful manner without any rancour, saying thousands of people have come out to show solidarity with the Palestinians.

Similarly, the Academic Forum of the Islamic movement said Palestinians have been under Zionist aggression for more than half a century and are forced to leave their homelands for refugee camps by the Israeli Zionists.

A statement issued by Shuaibu I. Ahmad said, “The Zionist regime continues its indiscriminate killing of Palestinian children, women, old and average youths, demolishing their settlements and building new ones for Zionist Jews.”

“The last Friday of the month of Ramadan was declared as International Quds Day by the late Ayatollah Khomeini (Q.S) to commemorate the plight of the oppressed people of Palestine and all other oppressed people across the globe.”

The group also called on the federal government to release the travel documents of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, and his wife Zeenah to be able to travel abroad and take care of their health.
