LP’s House of assembly candidate for Zungur/Galambi assures constituents of better representation

The candidate for Zungur/Galambi and Miri constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly under the platform of the Labour Party (LP), Hon. Elisha Yakubu, has assured his constituents of effective representation if given the mandate in 2023.
Hon. Elisha Yakubu gave the assurance during a meeting with various stakeholders that comprises of elders, women and youth groups from his constituency.
Addressing Journalists after the meeting, Hon. Yakubu, expressed gratitude to his supporters for their encouragement and support, noting that ‘Putting People First’ will continue to be his Slogan.
The hopeful lawmaker who hails from Birshi ward in Bauchi local government council area stated that if given the opportunity to serve, he will passionately represent the interest of his people irrespective of any differences, promising that he would not let them down.
The Labour party flag-bearer for Zungur, Galambi and Miri said his mission ‘is to give a formidable representation for his people at the state assembly with a view to attracting developmental projects and promoting youth empowerment, reducing crime and guaranteeing adequate human and capital development in the constituency, among others.
Hon Yakubu explained that he is in the race to if elected, provide positive and all-inclusive representation which he alleged had been lacking in the constituency.
“efore now, I have been carrying out philanthropic gestures that have a direct bearing on the lives of my people, in my own personal capacity”, Hon. Yakubu said.
He added that, “getting the people’s mandate can only mean more projects and empowerment programs to women and youths to realize their full potential”.
Hon Yakubu stressed that educational scholarships, agricultural interventions to farmers, sports and health issues are going to be given priority by bringing his youthful energy and ideas to turn things around for the good of his constituency.
In his legislative blueprint, Hon. Yakubu, promised to initiate quality legislation that would improve the socio-economic well-being of his constituents and the state at large.
Hon Yakubu assured Nigerians that the presidential candidate of his party, Peter Obi and his running mate, Senator Datti, are capable of moving Nigeria forward and to the promise land.
The house of assembly candidate appealed to the people of Bauchi state to rally round the labour party and Obediently take back the country with a view to ensuring security of and properties of the people, economic turn around as well as agricultural rebirth to guaranty food security.
