President Muhammadu Buhari appoints Dr. Halima as Medical Director Natl’ Obstetric Fistula Centre Ningi

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. Halima Mukaddas as the new Medical Director of National Obstetric Fistula Centre Ningi in Bauchi state.
The appointment of Dr. Mukaddas was contained in a letter dated 8th August, 2022 and signed by the Hon. Minister of state for health, Joseph N.Ekumankama.
“This is to inform you that His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR has approved vide letter Ref.No. PRES/81/SGF/876 dated July 28, 2022”, parts of the letter reads.
It added that the appointment of Dr. Mukaddas as Substantive Medical Director of National Obstetric Fistula Centre. Ningi Bauchi State is for an initial term of four years with effect from 28 July, 2022.
“While congratulating you on your appointment, it is my expectation that you will not only work hard to ensure that the Centre continues to provide quality healthcare, but endeavor to improve on the achievements of your predecessors and leave your mark of progress on the institution”, the minister said.
He urged the appointed Medical Director to justify the confidence reposed in her and work with all stakeholders for industrial peace and harmony in support of Mr. President’s Next Level Agenda.
