According him, if elected, he would collaborate with the state government to make the projects a reality.

“If we have a patriotic governor, we would ensure that these projects have been completed, as promised. I remember when we were young, governors came and promised people of the affected areas that they will complete the projects but to date nothing has been done”, Mohammed lamented.

The aspirant who said that the state assembly Member cannot execute the projects alone, avverred that such project needs collaboration with the state government.

“You must collaborate with the governor. So, if APC is able to produce a governor, I’m sure we will deliver the projects”, he assured

On his plans for youths, Mohammed Na Gayya, promised to create job opportunities for them through dry season farming.

According to him, he would provide capital and farm inputs to them, in order to harness the vast dry season farms effectively, for self reliance.

The aspirant, who is a retired police officer, explained that, he was asked to join the contest by his people, in view of how he has rendered selfless services to them.

“I support my people in the areas of health, digging boreholes, wells among many other things, that’s why they asked me to join politics, as according to them, I will do more than what their current leaders are doing, since I have been helping them even without any position”, he explained.

He implored his constituents to be wary of some politicians that give money during election just to be voted for, saying “wherever I go, I tell people that whoever gives them money they should collect, but vote for credible candidates”.

“I’m not saying that they must vote for me, if there’s a better person, they should go for him. But they should remember the sufferings they are going through”, Mohammed said.

Mohammed Na Gayya also called on members and leaders of the APC at all levels, to work in unity towards supporting anyone that will emerge as the party’s governorship candidate in order to salvage the state from its current condition.
